Terms and Conditions of Use
Clear to Compete, LLC. Effective Date: November 15, 2026.
These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Clear to Compete, LLC (C2C) application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the App
C2C is a drug and substance compliance lookup tool designed to help athletes, coaches, team physicians, trainers, and other authorized support personnel identify whether specific medications or substances are prohibited under applicable anti-doping regulations, including but not limited to those issued by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Users search for a medication or supplement by name, and the App shows its status for the selected governing body and country, such as prohibited, permitted, or medical exception (for example, a Therapeutic Use Exemption, or TUE). Users choose their governing body (WADA, NCAA) in a Configuration panel and the destination country for travel at the time of each lookup. The App searches the selected governing body’s banned list and returns one of three states for each search: Banned, Conditionally Banned (for example, substances banned in competition only), or Not on Banned List. Where a medical exception process exists, the App links to the applicable one: Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) for WADA, Medical Exception for NCAA. Links to wada-ama.org and ncaa.org are provided only as a supplement to the information in the App.
2. Eligibility
The App is intended for users 18 years of age and older. Users under 18 may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
To access the App, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
3A. Free Trials, Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
Certain features of the App may be offered through a paid annual subscription.
Free trial: New users may be eligible for a one (1) week free trial. Each person is eligible for one free trial only, and we use account identifiers to enforce this limit. Unless canceled before the end of the trial period, the applicable annual subscription fee will be automatically charged using the payment method provided during registration.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew annually unless canceled before the renewal date.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time during the seven (7) day free trial through your account settings or by contacting [email protected], and you will not be charged. Once the free trial ends and the annual subscription fee is charged, your subscription cannot be canceled for the remainder of that subscription term. You may turn off automatic renewal at any time before your renewal date, and your subscription will then end at the close of the current term.
Refunds: Because you may cancel without charge during the free trial, subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, including renewals, except where required by law.
C2C reserves the right to modify subscription pricing or billing practices upon reasonable advance notice to users.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the App solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial compliance reference purposes. Use is limited to athletes and to support personnel acting on an athlete’s behalf. You may not resell access to the App.
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App

5. Disclaimer of Medical and Legal Advice
IMPORTANT: The App provides general drug compliance reference information only. It does not constitute medical advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of compliance under any anti-doping program.
Use of the App does not establish a physician-patient relationship, healthcare provider relationship, attorney-client relationship, consultant relationship, fiduciary relationship, or any other professional advisory relationship between the user and C2C.
No employee, contractor, consultant, advisor, content contributor, or representative of C2C is providing individualized medical, legal, or compliance advice through the App.

The App does not grant a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) under WADA or a Medical Exception under NCAA and is not a substitute for applying for either through the applicable governing body.
Users are subject to strict liability under many anti-doping programs. Users are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable anti-doping regulations and for any substance found in their body regardless of intent, source, contamination, or information obtained through the App.
C2C does not warrant that any search result, recommendation, classification, compliance status, or other information provided by the App is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or error-free.
Substance searches are processed only to return a result and are not saved; the user chooses whether to save their own search logs.
Users should independently verify all information with the applicable governing body, anti-doping authority, team physician, athletic trainer, or compliance officer before making any decision regarding the use of a medication, supplement, or substance.
C2C does not collect, store, or link consumer health data to your account.

C2C makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not warrant the completeness, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any third-party data.
Prohibited substance lists are subject to change without notice; Users should always verify directly with the relevant governing body. C2C IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY ASSOCIATION ENFORCING DRUG AND SUBSTANCE COMPLIANCE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, C2C, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF ELIGIBILITY, COMPETITION SANCTIONS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR LOST INCOME, EVEN IF C2C HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
C2C’s total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for access to the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Guilford County, North Carolina, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
